New Families

Lakeview Institute for Teens is a ministry of Lakeview Baptist Church and serves as a Christ-centered academic ministry to River Region church school families. We offer a full array of core academic and elective courses for students ages 13-18, including options for honors students. Courses meet one or two days per week, depending on the class. Students are taught in a classroom setting by instructors experienced in their respective fields. New students are limited to 3 classes per year. If you are interested in learning more about LIFT you can read the "About Us" section of the website. You may also want to check out the "Academics" link and view the current Class Schedule and Class Descriptions for more information about our courses.

To join LIFT, you must:

  1. Apply to LIFT online using the form below & mail the nonrefundable application fee ($25 per student OR $50 maximum per family). Payment is accepted via check or money order and should be made payable to Lakeview Institute for Teens. Payments should be mailed to: Lakeview Institute for Teens, ATTN: Sharon Hubbard, P.O. Box 241738 Montgomery, AL 36124

  2. After the application is completed and funds have been received the LIFT Director will conduct a phone interview with you to determine if LIFT is a good fit for your family.

  3. If approved by LIFT Director, you will then be sent a link to register online and officially become a part of LIFT. New student registration fees are $275* for the first student; $175* for each additional student per family. Registration fee payment is accepted via check or money order and should be made payable to Lakeview Institute for Teens. Payments should be mailed to: Lakeview Institute for Teens, ATTN: Sharon Hubbard, P.O. Box 241738 Montgomery, AL 36124

  4. Next, you must provide all requested forms to the LIFT Director. The required forms include a liability release and a medical form with a copy of the student's insurance card. These forms can be found on our "Registration" page.

  5. Once ALL fees and paperwork have been received, you will be emailed a unique link and access code that is needed to enroll in classes online. Keep in mind that we limit classes to no more than 16 students, so some class rosters will fill up quickly. The sooner you complete the steps above, the sooner you will be emailed the link to enroll your student in the classes he/she wants to take.
